October 9th // The Books - A Cold Freezing Night
The video and song goes so well together, they're hardly inseparable. Not sure how I feel about the band's other songs.

October 8th // Parenthetical Girls - Evelyn McHale
Evelyn McHale, a 23-year-old woman who jumped from the Empire State Building observation deck on May 1, 1947 and was photographed immediately after by Robert Wiles in beautifully serene repose atop a crushed car.

October 7th // Born Ruffians - Red Yellow and Blue
Very cozy song about how one might reason when making a flag for an imaginary country.

October 5th // Atlas Sound - Shelia
Great song by the singer from Deerhunter's solo project Atlas Sound.

October 4th // Klaxons - Two Receivers
Maybe a bit too polished sound for my taste, but a great tune nonetheless!
